Hello, the main reason I registered is your website name! I've been trying to find a place that grows googootz or can supply me with seeds. Grandparents on both sides of my family grew them, but unfortunately they and their backyard gardens are gone now. Anyone have any sources?

Hi folks, I am looking for a "gourmet to go" type of service as a gift to my wife to give her a break. I would even consider hiring a chef to cook at our home for an evening or two. I know I should step up and do the cooking myself, but I think she will appreciate the hired expertise even more (you would understand if you tasted my cooking). Thanks for your anticipated reply.

Would Googootz ever consider exploring purchasing very fine Olive OIls,Balsamic Vinegars and pastas, to share with all Foodies who would be looking for these great products to purchase but unable to find in our communities. A true Traditionale Balsamic or one from Modena puts what we find in markets to shame, but hard to find same goes for Extra Virgin Olive OIl and pasta along with many great imported Italian products. Is anyone interested in making these purchases if available?

My mother used to make this great tasting dish called, of all things,Googootz. She made it by mixing sliced onions and sliced green squash until browned. She then added hand-crushed whole Italian tomatoes and blended in Ameican Cheese grated in until nice and thick. I'm not sure if she put in an egg. It's an Italian dish , so maybe someone else has tried this and knows. Please let me know thanks Lohn Jennon

I am planning two dinner parties.One is for old friends who love to come for the food and ambience.NO problem there.The other is for new friends and neighbors(6-8people)who have never eaten here.I love to prepare great food and set a nice table including appetizers and dessert.My husband feels that by doing my usual,I will be setting the bar too high and we will not receive reciprocal invitations.
